CABLEready Secures Rights to TV Guide Network Series

NORWALK: CABLEready has secured worldwide distribution and format rights to the popular TV Guide network series MAKING NEWS: TEXAS STYLE, to add to its highlights for MIPCOM.

The 13×30-minute MAKING NEWS: TEXAS STYLE follows the professional lives of the anchors, reporters and crew of TV station KOSA in Odessa/Midland, Texas. They tackle everything from a first-time TV anchor, dating co-workers, an in-studio interview with a suspected murderer and much more.

Other TV Guide programs that CABLEready will bring to MIPCOM include The Fashion Team, hosted by stylist David Evangelista and comedian Daphne Brodgon; InFANity, a guide to what’s happening on the hottest shows on television; the 12×30-minute TV Candy, which pairs a TV fan with an expert stylist to transform them into their favorite television character; and Red Carpet Coverage, where Lisa Rinna and Joey Fatone cover marquee Red Carpet events including the Emmys, Grammys and Academy Awards.
