CABLEU, the subscription-based online service that monitors and analyzes cable networks, released its first annual CABLEU Report Card. This report offers an unbiased look at programming and audience trends for 30 cable networks. The most successful programming genres, according to the report, include crime, original drama, comedy, paranormal, property, wedding and makeovers (personal and home). Less successful were off-net and Pay TV acquisitions, networks not staying on target with their branding, stripped programs across the week and inconsistent scheduling.
