Networks, distributors return to CABLEready

US distributor CABLEready has made a slew of renewals for its factual programming, with deals signed with networks and distributors in Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany and New Zealand.

In Canada, French-language network Canal D has picked up 20 further episodes of crime series MEDICAL DETECTIVES, while FORENSIC FILES, another show on a similar theme, has received a 30-episode renewal order from Crime & Investigation Network, covering Australia and New Zealand.

A second Australian pay-TV network from AETN International, Biography Channel, has acquired seven more episodes of high-society exposé DOMINICK DUNNE’S POWER, PRIVILEGE AND JUSTICE. In Singapore, free-to-air Mediacorp channel TV12 will air 10 more instalments of James Lipton’s iconic interview series, INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO.

Finally, German distributor Telcast has nabbed the cable and satellite rights to A COOK’S TOUR (35×30′), the second show from renowned chef and author Anthony Bourdain.
